    A:  No. This is for 1/2". For 3/8", use part # 48-22-4250. It is a 1/2" but, you can close it to work on 3/8".

      A:  doubt it. Made for 1/2 copper pipe (5/8 O.D.).

        A:  I don't believe it would. I don't think there is enough play in the spring loaded cutting wheel to get that small but I have not tried.

          A:  This cutter is really designed to cut 3/4 copper tubing, it will cut 3/4 emt but not easily. 3/4 pvc is too big in diameter to fit in the opening.

                                            A:  depending on the cutter size, 2 inch max from the wall should be the space you will need.
