Q:Drilling a 1 1/4" concrete hole with hammer drill. Is it best to use only 1 1/4 bit, or drill through with smaller bits, then repeat with larger and larger bits until reaching 1 1/4"? Thinking to keep from wobbling, using only 1 1/4" is best, thoughts?

A: Hi there - Our SHOCKWAVE™ Carbide Hammer Drill Bits are compatible and can fit both Impact drivers and Hammer Drills. Depending on the application, we do not always recommend using an Impact driver, if anything we recommend using a Hammer Drill for heavier duty or applications where a larger bit would be used. Hope this helps! - Milwaukee Tool Social Team
