Q:Would this tool be good for floods and leaks? Instead of using a wet vac to vacuum up water I was wonder if this would be an easier alternative. I would say 1-2 inches of water, or would that be to low for this tool to pump.

A: I bought this to pump water out of a 3in wide trench. It was too wide to fit, so I bought an extra filter head and cut it down to size. It works great, but I don’t think cutting it down to a 3 inch diameter is about as small as you could go.

Q:Can I attach a sprayer on the end of it to water my plants? This would reduce the outflow to about 0.5 gallons per minute. Will it be a problem if the pump is running but I'm only allowing it to spray out about 1/2 gallon per minute?
