A: Not a good idea .. A 1/4 hex shank won't hold up.. For lug-nuts,, you'll want an M18 1/2 drive impact

A: depends on your application; for most stuff around your house and diy projects this is more than enough forever. if you're drilling thru solid steel, or think ur gunna affix 2x4s to a 4x4 stud with 4in lags more than a few times, maybe get the 18v.

A: In the 12v category these are great and fine for non-heavy duty use. Comparing the Milwaukee line; 12v tools are smaller, lower power output, and cheaper while the 18v tools are full size, way more powerful, and cost more.
