A: depends on what you are using it for. for example, I have the edger attached and got about 350 lf or 12 minutes on the 8.0 amp battery using only 1/2" depth.

A: Hi Paul! On the trimmer head, you can rotate the housing plate to align the red indicators on the housing plate with the red indicators above the eyelets. Then, insert the line through either eyelet and push through the head, so an equal amount of line extends from each eyelet. You can then wind in the line by rotating the housing plate in the direction of the arrows.
