A:  I’m not sure , I’m not a representative of either homedepot or Milwaukee . I would take my receipt back to the place of purchase and talk to the. And I would call Milwaukee and explain to them what happened . I know when I purchase mine I purchased a lanyard separately not realizing it came with one and also when I purchased more optional attachments they came with lanyards  

A:  I would contact Milwaukee they usually have a replacement plan for all their products. If it breaks you get a new one for free so I would just call them. Send them some pictures in an email and on their website and they’ll probably give you one for free.

A:  Those straps all though are comfortable and good for not having to hold up all the time have a badly designed as you use them it keeps coming off and the clip keeps going on the other side and it is a headache I wouldn’t recommend getting another one until they fix the clip design 

A:  Home Depot has a good return policy you clukd probably return the bundle and get a new one with a new strap or contact Milwaukee directly.

A:  The clip that connects to the trimmer broke on mine also.  I fashioned an attachment out of D rings and a carbiner clip that has been working.
