A:  I had mine installed in large bathroom. If you are finishishing you garage as something other than garage, then yes. If you are planning to drive on it, maybe not due to the texture. It would accumulate a lot of road dirt.

A:  yes. We had it installed in a bathroom that had a ramp down into from the kitchen to a small bathroom and washroom and it worked well with no issues since it is very flexible.

Under the specifications, it does state the following: Can be installed over both concrete and wooden subfloors. A:  since the vinyl is only available in 12' width. your calculation for ordering would be 12 x 20 =240 sf and then 240/9 = 26.66 sy. you have to do it this way to insure you will get the proper length you want, and then you will just have 2' x 20' of waste.
