Q:Can this be used for in ground electric connection
by|Nov 28, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  This would not be designed for this as it is not a watertight box and would depend on more of what you are using within the Valve Box to make sure it is a sealed unit for electrical uses.

Q:There is conflicting information on the box size. The Product description states; “ Lid dimensions: Top dimension 11-3/4 in. X 16-13/16 in.; bottom dimension 10-1/16 in. X 15-3/16 in.”. So the bottom of the box is smaller than the top???

          Answer This Question

A:  No, it has the place for the nut but it doesn’t come with it.

          by|Oct 5, 2022

A:  Hi Scooter1776, The Box should come with a brass nut 3/8" - 16 hex finish. The bolt is always optional. Bolt size is a 2-1/2" x 3/8" stainless steel bolt. Answer This Question

A:  It could be used. The real question is can you easily access the opening to the septic tank and get the septic lid cap out?

              by|Sep 20, 2022

A:  I believe that it would totally depend on the size of the riser that you are trying to leave access to.

                  Answer This Question

A:  Yes. I used for a cover above our well head out in the yard. We put down a gravel base first to help with stability. I run it over with my zero turn mower all the time with no issue. It’s very sturdy.

                  by|Jul 3, 2023

A:  We classify this in the pedestrian category for loading and most typical riding lawn mowers should fall within this criteria.
