        Answer This Question

A:  The bamboo is solid and can be cut, remember to seal after cutting. For the blade type you will need to ask your local hardware store, they will have more expertise with that question.

        by|May 4, 2023

A:  Yes, but I'm not sure why you would? It's a nice solid piece of bamboo.

A:  Definitely NOT.....only the table top is made of stainless steel. The remaining table parts will eventually rust if left out in the elements.

            Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question, unfortunate we do not have casters to fit the workbench. If you desire to have a mobile station I can suggest to purchase two base cabinets ,one top and one set of casters. This will be able to provide you with a mobile work station. If you require any additional assistance please contact our customer service team and we would be happy to assist.

              Answer This Question

A:  That depends on what you had in mind for the use of the table. Both are great tops.

A:  The steel I received had a couple of small dents. It did not matter to me but this steel con be easily dented.

              by|May 4, 2023

A:  I purchased the steel for ease of cleaning and a sleeker look. It does scratch, scuff, and dent very easily., but it IS a workbench.

              by|May 4, 2023

A:  It would be a matter of your preference on the finish because both are comparable.

                by|May 3, 2023

A:  That all depends on the planned use for the surface. It is really a preference item because both can be refinished. The stainless can be sanded to restore the finish and the wood can be done the same. As a home designer of multi-million dollar homes, we typically determine the primary use of the spaces and hobbies the owner will indulge in. A woodworker would typically get a wood top and a mechanic would go stainless. So, boiling it down, you choose whatever top that will best suit the use and ultimately your personal preference. Hope that helps.

A:  We currently do not offer casters for installing on the workbenches.

                        by|May 3, 2023

A:  Yes. The adjustable feet that come with the unit screw into the bottom of the legs. Just find the right size caster and insert them to create a mobile work space.

A:  This may be possible but we have not tested this type of installation and cannot offer warranty if the top is cut.

                              by|May 3, 2023

A:  Provided you have the proper tools and a sink that would fit to the bench size it shouldn't be a problem. Just keep in mind the benches framework underneath, if you cut into it and alter it you could very well compromise the strength of your bench.

                                by|May 4, 2023

A:  I would say you could, however the under-top frame would likely be too narrow to fit an actual sink. The distance between the two horizontal top supports is only about 18".

A:  Yes, table structure is supported around the outside edges leaving the center area open to install a sink. Sub-base of stainless steel top is made of wood.
