Answer This Question

A:  The work top is 1 1/4" thick and does provide enough space for a clamp-on vice to be attached to either the sides or front of the workbench.

A:  You could mount a small 5 inch vice on the top the legs and table top are sturdy enough to work really well. I have not mounted mine as of today but I plan to next week. Don't see a problem.

A:  Definitely can on the sides, the front if you attach the tray, it would be difficult to clamp to the front.

A:  There is a little bit of overhang on the underside of the top. I guess it would depend on the size of the clamp!!

A:  There are about two inches of overhang on the front and sides that you could attach a clamp-on vise to.

A:  The frame is smaller than the worktop so you have some overhang where you could use a clamp. You could drill into the worktop as well and bolt a vice on.

A:  Depending on the size of the clamps it would be possible. This bench top is strong enough to mount the vise too it.

A:  There is a 2 inch overhang on the sides. I plan on installing a 4 inch vise on one side centered over the frame.
