Q:Will this hold up against ground cover. The ground below/around the deck posts is a pretty hard slope. I wanted to dig around the posts and cover the bottom part of the post at ground level and build up for a clean look

Answer This Question
A: The product will hold up pretty well, but it depends on what chemicals are used for lawn care and leaching agents that occur naturally in mineral rich soils. These issues may overtime cause discoloration for the portion below grade.

Answer This Question
A: This product is made to go around a 6X6 post. If you are using 4X4 post you will need a filler in a couple places to fill the gap so as to give it rigidity. Basically a spacer you can make from scrap. When finished everyone asked me who did my stone work. I proudly said, I did of course

A: These Post Covers are meant to wrap a "True" 6x6 Post, but can also be used to warp a "True 4x4 Post" with a converter. The Converter will provide the additional spacing and support necessary at the top, center and bottom. The Post Cover will then be screwed into those 3 pieces converter rings.

Answer This Question
A: This Item will cover/wrap the entire post (all 4 sides) up to 47". This product works for "true" 4x4 or 6x6 Posts. If your post measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (Nominal sizing), you can use the Slatestone Profile or you will need to "fir our" your posts to 6 inches for the Country Ledgestone Profile. Q:How thick is the inside would this cover a cylinder post 4inch and do they come in 8 ft long? thank you
by|Feb 22, 2023

Answer This Question
A: It is 1 1/2 inch thick. It will cover your 4" cylinder but you will need to fir it out to 6 inches. You can attach firring strips on opposite sides of the cylinder. The post cover needs to have something to screw in to. They do not come in 8 foot heights, but they can be stacked to your desired height.
