A:  Hello Larry, Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, ORORO heated apparel is machine washable. And please use a laundry bag, remove the battery and then unzip the battery pocket before washing. Please ensure line dry only and do not machine dry.

A:  Yes. Take out battery. Zip pockets and front zipper. Place in delicates bag and wash on cold with mild detergent. Remove and hang to dry.

A:  Hi Tracey, Thank you for reaching out to us. Please make sure the battery is fully charged, Then, hold down the square ORORO logo (located on the chest of your garment) until it blinks red. Once blinking red, give the item 5 minutes to preheat. After preheating, your garment should be noticeably warmer. The initial cycle of the heating looks as follows: Preheat (Blinking Red) > High (Solid Red) > Medium (White) > Low (Blue). A:  As with any substitution power supply you must first make sure the voltages are the same as the original ,next the connector must be the same, also the polarity of the connector should be the same ,finally it should fit in the space the original one did. I it is electrically similar there should be no problem. Finally if any items listed don't match I wouldn't use it.

A:  For safety and warranty concerns, we do not suggest you use batteries from other companies on ORORO heated clothing.

A:  Yes of course they are as is everything these days, not sure why this question is so popular, were you seriously expecting them to be made in America, if only. I think its an American company though that sources out there production .

A:  remeber it's a vest, i'm 6' 1" and it reaches over my hips.....

A:  It will be too short. I am 5'10" and larger and it works. If you are thin it may work. Even short it will help under another jacket.
