A:  While using Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer For Indoor & Perimeter2 RTU, pets such as cats, dogs, birds, fish tanks, etc, should be removed from the application area/room prior to application. Once the product has dried after application people and pets may reenter the area.

A:  After using Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer For Indoor & Perimeter2, people may re-enter the treated area after the spray has dried. We cannot give a specific time on how long it takes to dry, as several factors can impact drying speed, such as indoor and outdoor humidity levels, for example. The better the area is ventilated, the more quickly it will dry. If you are unsure the product has dried, we recommend waiting a full 24 hours after application before re-entering the area. A:  Hello JDAK, insects sprayed directly with Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer For Indoor & Perimeter2 RTU should die within an hour. However, if insects came in contact with sprayed surfaces they should die within 24 hours. Note: This product also will kill the listed insect eggs. If it isn't listed it won't kill the egg or pupa stage. There should be a reduction in insects activity within 48 hours. Cockroaches will die in 4-6 days unlike other insects such as spiders.

A:  Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer For Indoor & Perimeter2 - Do not allow this product to contact food, food preparation areas (including appliances), utensils, and/or water supplies. This product can be around baseboards in a kitchen, dining room, breakfast nook, etc. The product can be used to spray around cabinets and along counter top where it meets the wall but needs to clean counter top prior to preparing food after application. Treated counter tops should be cleaned with soap and water before preparing food there. When using In cabinets, drawers and pantries we suggest you remove dishes and food items, then spray and allow to dry. Drying time will vary depending on how much was sprayed, temperatures, humidity, etc. If unsure when spray has dried then recommend they wait 24 hours. Once spray has dried put in new paper liners, then restock with dishes and food items. Be sure that food items or dishes/utensils do not come in direct contact with sprayed shelves. This product can be sprayed around appliances but do NOT spray near power source and turn off pilot light if applicable prior to application. This product can be used under sinks or on water pipes. Do not use on faucets or inside sink.
