A: You could build a wall . . . but not that high as they are not that large a base. And if above 24", I'd use mortar.

A: The kits shown are the designs currently available. If you need to customize the dimensions, it is best to purchase the product from your local store. You can layout the product and arrange until you have achieved the desired dimensions and configurations to your liking

A: 48 blocks and 48 smaller bricks. That's exactly what I was looking for. The inside diameter is 32", the outside diameter is 45". 12 blocks and 12 bricks for each level

Q:Will it take the heat and not crack and crumble? I used regular concrete block and they cracked and crumbled. The description says "garden stone". I want to be sure it can be used for extreme heat applications.

A: Hi Jaybird,
Yes, wall stones are rated to about 450°f and will work well for a firepit. They are not "firebrick" and will not handle "extreme heat conditions" however.
Untreated concrete blocks are rated to less than half of that temperature.
Thank you for asking,

A: Hello Jaybird,
These blocks are not rated as fire bricks intended to use in a fireplace. They can be used as fire pit wall, that does not have constant direct contact with the actual fire.
Thank you for your inquiry.

Q:I want to build a circular enclosure that is two stones high and 12 feet in diameter using the RumbleStone wall blocks. How many blocks of each size block will I need?

A: it takes 12 of these to make a circle one level high.. then if you want a larger circle you add 12 of the mini bricks like they show in the picture.. so it depends on how high you want it.. typically on a fire pit it would be 3 layers high. (I'd suggest buying them at the store over buying the fire pit kit.. it's terribly overpriced for the kit here.. individual bricks at the store are far less in cost. Of course if you want the different color that is available in the kit, you'll pay up for it to have it shipped in.

A: First you need to figure out how long and tall it will be. This size I wouldn't go more than 2' or 3' at most, plus you will need block wall adhesive for a caulk gun to hold them in place. If you want to go higher or be retaining use the castle blocks or larger, you could go 4' to 5' with those and adhesive isn't mandatory, but recommended. The key to a great looking wall is to dig down the height of the block and use sand or crushed stone to level the base before you start..

A: Check out the other sized blocks they have in the Rumblestone line.. I got some of the 10.5" x 7" blocks that aren't angled like these.. you could use those to go straight across the front. They also have 7" x 7" square blocks.. in addition to the mini brick sized ones.. Search 'Rumblestone fire pit" on google images and you'll see all kinds of square fire pits with these bricks surrounding them. I uploaded just one example.

A: Howdy AbuSabah,
The easiest way would be to space them evenly and keep adding until you get barely enough space to fit one more.
The other option would be to use a different brick type to get a tighter fit.
