A:  Technically, yes it can be used in the kitchen. However, this level of person is not entirely waterproof. Due to likelihood of spills, water etc., I would recommend Pergo upper tier of laminate that is waterproof. I opted to not use in kitchen or bathroom. My two cents...

    A:  Hello! Haley Oak is a water-resistant only flooring, it has no waterproofing measures between the joints, however it can be used in a kitchen as long as spills are cleaned up immediately. Thank you for your Pergo inquiry- Pam

      A:  Hello! The Pergo XP has the attached pad. If you are installing on a concrete slab, you will need to use a vapor barrier. You can either use a 6mil polyethene vapor barrier or the Pergo Floormate which has a vapor barrier built in. Thank you for your Pergo inquiry. -Amy

            Q:I have many short cut off planks, how can I joint them together. Is there a way to cut new snap in place grooves, can I glue them end to end if the groove is cut off?
