Q:Is this safe to use on a cooktop? I need an adhesive sealant to affix the metal trim back onto the glass cooktop. It looks like what was there was something similar to this. No direct contact with the burners, but is a few inches away.

Q:Will Permatex #75151 adhere to wood? I need to attach a copper cap onto the end of a wooden dowel but do not want to use epoxy as I may need to remove the cap from the dowel at some point in the future.

A:  I do not have record of product number 75151 that you supplied, but the product that Home Depot currently carries , 80050 is not formulated to use on wood.
