A:  Thank you so much for asking. This receiver is attached with the contact points. To remove this from the strap all you would need to do is remove the contact points, so you could place this on another collar, however you may have to make the holes to attach it.

A:  Thank you so much for asking Jannitt, when attaching to a fence we would suggest keeping the wire as low to ground level as possible.

A:  Thanks for asking, Brandi! The wire can absolutely be ran along an existing fence line and does not have to be buried.

A:  Thank you so much for asking. We would recommend keeping the wire a minimum of 3-5 feet from your metal building.

A:  Thank you for reaching out with this question. While you do not have to bury the the wire, we do suggest to do so to protect the wire from the elements.

A:  Thank you for reaching out with this question. While the transmitter itself will have a wire break alarm and be able to reach 25 acres. The main difference would be that the collar has a stronger correction level than the classic collar.
