Q:A number of people in the reviews mentioned that the collars were "cheap". I experienced that previously with bark collars. Can the device be attached to a stronger collar that I purchase elsewhere?

A: Thank you so much for asking. This receiver is attached with the contact points. To remove this from the strap all you would need to do is remove the contact points, so you could place this on another collar, however you may have to make the holes to attach it.

Q:When attaching it to the fence instead of burying it, should we attach it low just above the ground or can it be attached higher up? What height is recommended?
