A:  The base and all platforms are made of mdf board. The tubes are made of thick cardboard. Mine is still in service after two years and two cats. The only thing that failed was the dangling toy mice that my cats chewed off promptly but they still play on it ever day.

A:  Majority of cats would be able to fit this cat tree. The bottom compartment is pretty big and roomy then the top one is a bit smaller but has the ledges on the sides for them to stretch out. The very top “shelves” are a little smaller so I’m not sure if a larger cat breed like a bengal or Maine coon would fit well.

A:  It is wrapped around wood. Took about an hour to put together with the included Allen wrench. Well worth the money. Highly recommend.

A:  No. Will get ruined if its outside because its made of cardboard and carpet. If it gets wet it will start to ripple and fall apart most likely. Cardboard wasn't made to get wet.

A:  I would think it could be used outdoors, as long as it was in a covered area, and kept dry, for example on a screened porch

A:  Nope, not unless you are okay with wet faux fur carpet and rope.

A:  The tree is very sturdy

A:  Yes.I bought this 2 weeks ago and my cat runs and jumps on it. Very sturdy.

A:  Sturdy enough to keep my two wild and funny cats climbing it over and over till they drain their energy lol.

A:  Very sturdy. We have a 45 pound dog that likes to chase the cats. They have bumped into the tree while the cats jump onto it and it has survived nicely.

A:  It’s just a great, sturdy, inexpensive product. Highly recommended. Like others have said the directions included or mostly worthless. The pictures do help you get it together eventually.

A:  Yes, super easy assembly. No additional tools needed. A small allen tool is included and I was done in about 20 mins. But for our cats, we really dont mind, do we? lol
