A:  In the vast majority of cases, mailbox posts include the mounting hardware designed to mount the mailbox - this is due to the various designs of mailbox posts (steel, plastic or wooden). With that being said, in most applications the mailbox can be secured to the mailbox post with common metal machine screws and nuts.

The inside usable space width is 7 3/8" The usable height in the center is 8 7/8" This mailbox was larger than my previous one and has really worked well for us. I installed it just like another reviewer had done and written about and can furnish further details if needed.

A:  This area is designed to accommodate 1 1/2" adhesive numbers. Before applying the numbers, we suggest cleaning the surface of the mailbox with a rubbing alcohol and then thoroughly drying. Be aware that adhesive numbers are produced by various manufacturers and not all attach well to plastic. In this case, using a glue adhesive may be required. The mailbox is attached to the post using basic hardware (included in the kit). A Phillips head screwdriver is required for assembly.

A:  This mailbox comes with the hardware and instructions needed for attaching to a post, and the space below U.S. Mail easily handles numbers measuring 1.5 inches high.

A:  That statement above semi happen to me door hinge /mounting plug fell out on two of the boxes Luckily I found them .Might recommend something better for that look like that could be a issue later With the hinge /plug falls out

A:  The box did not have any hardware included. I used stainless steel screws to attach the box to the wooden base that is bolted to the Mayne Newport post.
