A: Hi Jayson -
Our Oil Rubbed Bronze colored silicone is the recommended product to use to seal the outer edge of the bathtub, as well as the drain. You can also use a neutral cure clear silicone for both of these processes.

A: Hello -
This product is designed to install copper sinks and drains. Therefore, it has not been tested to hold a back splash in place. Premier Copper Products cannot definitively say that this will work for your application.

Answer This Question
A: You don't want to install a copper sink with anything but neutral cure. There should be no caulking, plumber's putty or other type of silicone involved anywhere. The under-mount bead line, drains, faucets and accessories should all be installed with this product or you will forever be cleaning the green from those areas. I've had many a professional installer argue because they have NO idea what they are talking about and what this product is and how the other products react with copper. If your not doing the install yourself and don't want your installation ruined, buy this and insist they use it. It won't turn any existing caulking green. The green you speak of is a reaction between incorrect installation materials and the copper sink itself turning green. The only way to stop that is to remove the other material and reinstall with this.
