        Answer This Question

Joseph, The balusters (spindles) in this pre-assembled rail kit are nominal 2x2 balusters, which measure approximately 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in. actual size. This is standard for pressure-treated wood railing kits from Home Depot. Because the panel comes pre-assembled, the individual balusters are not adjustable or removable. This size meets typical residential deck railing requirements.
