It only comes in 8' lengths. I bought 6 lengths and cut them to size around my deck last year. I power washed and stained them this year. Holding up well little to no warping so far
Bian, If you are installing Pressure-Treated deck boards, ultimately, your deck boards should have an edge gap between ¼ inch and ⅜ inch to allow for proper ventilation and for debris to pass through. However, most pressure-treated lumber decking that is sold through retailers has high moisture content (meaning it’s wet) — so the boards are swollen. Always butt wet boards tight against each other or leave a minimal gap. Your wet deck boards will contract and create a wider gap as they dry. This could happen in a relatively short period of time (days to weeks) or may take longer depending on your climate and exposure to the sun. Note: Each piece of lumber is different and the change in width can vary as each board dries.

You'll need to think of the HEIGHT of the TV. Will it be too TALL to be properly attached to the railing? Normally, the bottom of the railing will be mounted about 6 inches above the deck surface, so that will give you some extra height for mounting..I don't think that there is an established "weight limit" for attaching anything to the spindles. The spindles are attached to the header and footer boards - on the OUTSIDE of the boards - with 1-1/2 inch (I think) deck screws. They are fairly solidly attached. However, if you are attaching the TV to the OUTSIDE of the railing, then it would be more likely for the spindles to rip out of the header & footer boards. However, you can reinforce the spindles by running a board horizontally on the INSIDE of the railing and screw through that board and then into the spindles. That would reinforce all of the spindles. Also, you'll need to consider the SPACING of the spindles (which I don't know the measurement), so that your TV mounting bracket fits properly and has something to screw into. If I were doing it, I'd mount a ANOTHER horizontal board (one wide one or two narrower boards, were the TV mount screw holes are) on the OUTSIDE to give you something for the mounting bracket screws. to attach to. Run screws thru the horizontal board(s) and then into many (or all) spindles, so that the weight of the TV is distributed across multiple spindles, thus reducing the chance that the spindles' screws will rip out.
Imgx3, These have not been tested to bare weight of a TV. These are designed to be a decorative baluster for this handrail kit.
Each spindle has four screws in it. Remove one at the top and one at the bottom. Push the top rail ( either left or right) to the angle you need to mount on the post. Mark the angle on the top and bottom rail and then cut the angle. Mount (temporarily)the angled end to the post, correct height etc. mount the next post so that when you cut the angle at the other end it will match up and the post is level. You will not get a true six foot run of stair rail because of cutting angles on each end. One all is in place, replace the spindle screws that were removed

Hello Peter, You can paint or stain the handrail when the wood is dry; if you splash a bit of water on it, then after 10 minutes or so, see if the water has absorbed or is still beaded up. Beading means that the wood is too wet to take-on another liquid, such as paint or stain. If the water has absorbed, the wood is ready to be painted or stained.
