A:  No, not really, but follow the instructions. They're real basic and hooking up the small tubes are color coded. The only part you need to pay attention to is: The valve that goes in line to cold water line to the faucet. Hope this helps.

A:  Firstly buy a TDS meter so you can check the true performance of the units product water

A:  I'm just guessing here. If you didn't flush the carbon filter(s), all that activated charcoal dust would have gone into the "membrane" not sure, but that could damage the membrane?, making it "leak" un-purified water on into the system. R/O water is slightly less pure than distilled water(no minerals)

A:  I have found depending on water it can take out the top filter. This one is not in the filter kit. You can order and change it out.

A:  This system does not add flavor to water. It simply removes unwanted contaminants from your water. If you want to add flavor I suggest you add something like koolaid to your water.

A:  Hi Merv, This is normally caused by high incoming water pressure or psi into the system and this has damaged a component called the ASV or automatic shut off valve. The part needs to be replaced and we would recommend that you install the APR70 pressure regulator to prevent this in the future. A:  Hi, You will need to cut a small 1/4" OD hole in the drain pipe for the drain line installation, The faucet installation may also need a hole in the counter top but you can also mount the faucet under the sink with a supplied bracket that comes with the system.
