Q:Product picture is deceptive. Every luxury vinyl plank product I can find on HD forbids installation of radiant floor heating components closer than 1/2". Are there any known LVP products that are approved for direct contact?

A: Thank you for reaching out. We step up our warranty to cover the floor covering in the event of a failure to combat these restrictions set forth by the flooring manufacturer. Simply put, you can select whatever flooring you want, as long as it is 4mm or greater in thickness, and you will be protected by the QuietWarmth warranty.

A: Thank you for reaching out. The intended application for this product is on top of any underlayment and directly beneath the finished floor covering. If the finished floor covering has an attached pad, the heating mat would be directly below the attached pad portion of the flooring.
