A: Maybe it’s different now, but I always took any broken RIDGID stuff I had to whatever local authorized repair shop was available. Sometimes it’s in the back of a plumbing shop or other random business.
But a lot of times they’ll fix it on the spot or replace it if they have any on hand. I’d look for a local authorized RIDGID repair shop.

Thank you for your inquiry about our products. there are 4 types of filters that you can use with your WD10600 vacuum.
For standard or typical basement or garage dirt, you can use the VF4000. For fine dust, such as drywall or cement dust, you must have the VF5000. We also have a filter made of HEPA rated material known as VF6000. This filter is best recommended for picking up pollens and allergens. Lastly, we have VF7000 foam filter specifically designed only for liquid pick-ups or water-borne debris.
These filters are regular items at the Home Depot stores. You can also order online at store.ridgid.com.

Thank you for your inquiry about our product. We have VP2000 pump accessory that can be attached to any of our RIDGID vacuum with the drain port. It pumps water out of the drum up to 10 gallons per minute, up to 40 ft. high. Note that this pump can only be run when the vacuum is turned off. Q:I've had this vac for a couple of years and last time I used it, it just stopped working right in the middle of the job. I emptied the tank and changed the filter, looked under the hood and extracted some fluff. Still not working. Any ideas?

A: Maybe try blowing all debris out and retry. Was there a burning smell at all? Could be bad motor,loose connection, bad switch etc. Hard to diagnose issue over computer. Might want to contact cutomer service.

A: I can't tell you if it is any quieter than your current vacuum (it's a vacuum, they're all noisy!), but you can buy a muffler for it which helps a bit (SKU # 1000146899). Also,I did buy the car cleaning kit (SKU # 1000527675) and yes it does fit.
