Q:How to change blades

A:  Its easy just turn the knob above the blade pull out the blade turn the knob hold slide in new blade that's it

    A:  Hi Eagle. Thanks for your interest in the RYOBI 4.8 Amp Corded Variable Speed Orbital Jig Saw JS481LG. To install blade: Unplug the saw. Rotate orbital adjustment knob to position 3. Rotate the rapid change blade clamp so that the slot in the blade clamp is aligned with the slot in the blade support roller. Holding the blade clamp in place, insert the saw blade as far as possible into the slot in the blade clamp body and blade support roller. Check to make sure the back of the saw blade is centered in the slot of the blade support roller and blade clamp. Release the blade clamp. Make sure the blade is securely in place. Check that the blade is inserted fully and completely secured. Blade will lock into position when correctly installed. Thanks for asking. - Eve

      A:  The saw comes with a blade that has a T, and by pulling back the spring on the saw it snap right in place. It literally takes a second to change the blade and no tools are needed.

      A:  The small black lever, into which the blade slides, twists to opne. Push blade fully in and let the spring-loaded lever return, locking the blade in place.

                                    A:  Use a dental pick (not a tooth pick). You can get them at Harbor Freight for next to nothing. I use them all the time to do this sort of thing. Be sure your holding the r stained all the way over, it should just fall out Rf
