A:  This is not a drill but an impact driver. It is used for screws & small bolts, For lug nuts you'd want a 1/2" drive impact wrench, of which tyobi makes.

A:  Most alloy wheels are 99ft lbs. some steel wheels are 110 lb ft. Convert inch to foot. I use a long ratchet to break lose each nut then use my p238 (it won't work when lugs are torqued to spec)!

A:  Yes that is how it's supposed to work. The driver applies force and the wood puts up resistance. The weak point is the screw and bit. Pilot holes generally a good idea anyway but if you really want to avoid them try star drive screws for less slip&strip.

A:  Suggestions, Andrewj: 1) Replace philips bits fairly often, as the tips wear & it's easier for it to strip from then on, and 2) Go to torx decking screws for all but sheetrock, as the T25 screws & torx bits grip, last better, & rarely strip, 3) Press hard

If the tool is not in use, the time-out feature will cause the lights to start fading and then shut off. The LED light illuminates only when there is a charged battery pack in the tool.
