    Q:What is the advantage of having a brushless saw as opposed to a brushed type? I understand not having to replace brushes?..are there other advantages? Thank you ?

    A:  The previous answer is 99% wrong. The "friction" of the brushes in a brushed tool is minicule compared to the losses of using any brushed motor. The efficiency of using a three phase brushless motor is key to the higher performace of this tool

                    Q:I bought this saw to remove a vinyl floor in our kitchen. I hooked a vacuum cleaner hose to the discharge port. While cutting there was sawdust everywhere. With the blade guard up the discharge outlet is blocked. Poor design.
