A:  No.  Never.   I have bamboo on our property and I have this product. The product is a flexible plastic. You will destroy the blades as well as the head that uses them if you try to use this on bamboo.

A:  Hello, Mills - Thank you for your question. To replace the blades; Remove the battery pack if installed. Press the two latches to release the accessory and pull it straight up from the string trimmer to remove. With the accessory head face down in your hand, grasp the finger tabs and rotate counterclockwise to unlock. Remove the used blades and discard. Install the new blades, making sure they are fully seated and the blades completely cover the posts. Grasp the finger tabs and rotate clockwise until the hooks click back into the locked position. Reinstall the accessory. I hope this helps!
