A:  Hello, thank you for your inquiry. PVC is recommended due to its resistance to battery acid so it will work fine. Battery acid is damaging to all rubber products. Therefore, please avoid rubber for applications such as this.

A:  The Rubber-Cal "Block Grip" Rubber Runner Mat is not best suited for outdoor as it is made of PVC vinyl material. PVC vinyl does not hold any UV resistance qualities.

A:  You will need at least 7 of these rolls to cover that area, plus an additional smaller roll of perhaps 4ft x 5ft.
