A:  You will need at least 7 of these rolls to cover that area, plus an additional smaller roll of perhaps 4ft x 5ft.

            A:  You would need two of these rolls to cover the 12ft x 12ft area in its entirety. In fact you will end up with some extra leftover material. Overall you simply need 3 rolls of 4ft x 12ft. You can install these using a polyurethane based glue if placing these on a wood or concrete surface.                   A:  Not sure if this is the best product for the intended use. You might want to consider using something like the Tuff-n-Lastic because it is made from rubber. A rubber flooring product will provide better grip.
