A: This product is not recommended for treating witches broom.
A: Witches broom is caused by a fungus on most plants, blueberries and fir trees. Safer Soap will not control that. Also, it would be advisable to remove the broom as infection will continue to grow. Check with your Univ or County extension agent.
A: Yes. I use to on my mint plants, mix as directed.
A: Yes
A: According to the label, it should be safe for any kind of mint. With the usual caution to first spray a small section of the plants to be sure there is no problem before using to spray all plants.
A: This product is not recommended for use on mint.
A: yes it will.but this is a contact killer so it has to get on them
A: Yes, whiteflies are included on the product label of what it kills.
A: This product is recommended for whiteflies.
A: It should kill most pest insects. It acts mostly by drowning insects bathed by the spray and there aren't many insects that can defeat that.
A: Max, white flies are one tough pest to completely get rid of. We use it as a deterrent for white flies, but I would say it is marginally effective in "killing" them. Hope this helps!
A: Yes it will, you can go to Saferbrand.com to see what all it kills indoors and outdoors
A: This is a very good insafe insect killer. I have not found an insect in my garden that it will not kill.
A: Alicemarie: I wouldn't because it's a safe contact insecticide but I use it only on insets pests. I use an anti fungal/mold/mildew spray on my trees. You might want to talk to an associate in the garden center at your local Home Depot. I hope that helps, Hank
A: This product is recommended for use on flowers (including roses), fruits, houseplants, ornamentals, shrubs, trees and vegetables. We recommend testing the product for varietal sensitivity before applying the product to the whole tree.
A: Hello Alice, Crepe myrtle's bring back alot of fond memories of my childhood in North Carolina. I now reside in Florida. Yes, it is definitely safe to use This Particular Insect Killing Soap on your Young Crepe Myrtle Tree for black mold, which is the unfortunate the leftover by products of Aphids. You should wait until the sun has gone down and just before evening to apply it to all parts of the tree, especially the under side of all the leaves. It is best to try and shade the tree while you are treating. Waiting until evening just before Sundown/Dusk will help prevent the tree from burning.DO NOT SPRAY OR TREAT YOUR TREE IN THE DAYTIME WHILE THE SUN IS SHINNING ON THE TREE. IT WILL DEFINITELY WILT AND BURN. You will probably have to re apply the soap spray more than once or twice if the tree is heavily infested. Follow the directions on the spray bottle itself. Monitor the tree daily. After 2 weeks or so of treatment, if the pesty mold is still present but in smaller amounts, I would recommend you use Neem Oil and then if that is not effective and you still see the black mold, you'll have to go to something a little stronger like systemic insecticide imidacloprid. Then keep your tree on a regular treatment schedule and it will be totally pest and mold free. Good luck and Happy Gardening to you. I hope this info helps you and your tree will start to thrive.
A: It does make sense but it needs to be premixed. You can use a regular, one not connected to a hose, garden sprayer for application.
A: We recommend applying this product with a hand or power sprayer. It should be mixed at a rate of 2.5 fl. oz. of concentrate (5 tbsp.) per gallon of water.

A: While this product is not recommended for caterpillars, we have several products that are. Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-7-ORGANIC (1-855-767-4264) for further assistance. We are happy to help!
A: Hi jJackie, I have not found this particular product totally effective on IO Moth Caterpillars, if you want to rid yourself and your Trees of the pests, I would recommend a systemic insecticide imidacloprid, you can find this in liquid or granule form, either one will be systemic and take care of these pests and any other pests that may try and attack your trees. You will need to keep your beloved trees on a regular treatment Schedule to reassure yourself that the pests do not return 6 months later and take up residence again. I hope this info helps. Happy Gardening.

A: We apologize as we have not tested this product on Bonsai plants. If testing the product on a small section of the plant, we recommend using caution as they can be very sensitive.
A: Yes Insect Killing soap spray is safe and effective to kill infestations on Bonsais. Although it may require you to treat the plant several times every few days to fully rid your plant of harmful insects like Aphids, etc. But definitely rest assured that this product is safe to use on Bonsai specimens.
A: No, beetles are hard bodied. The abdomen of a beetle does not usually have special parts on the outside, but it has the beetle's gut inside. Like other insects, beetles have no internal bones, but instead have a hard exoskeleton on the outside of the body. The exoskeleton is made of hard plates of chitin.
