As for quiet, like any Frig with an ice maker, you will hear it. Is it annoying or loud? A:  Sometimes things are not just for family, you may want to watch or hear music while you are cooking and I think this refrigerator is a nice added extra. It's a personal preference. Families don't sit down for dinner together anyway. Everyone have their own life, especially if your family is out of school, so I don't see the harm in getting a refrigerator that has this feature, especially if you don't have room to put a TV in the kitchen, so you want have to keep going back and forth to watch TV and cook your family a wonderful meal!

A:  Hello, For this you will have to ask RING and the associated phone app used to access RING. My refrigerator has been remote upgraded and DOES have the ring app on it but I have not connected.
