A:  On the B62 the key does not need to stay in the lock. It is the same type of cylinder that is on the outside of the door. Please call 888-805-9837 if you have anymore questions or concerns.

A:  I just did this at Home Depot. I took the clerk only 15 minutes to open the package of the new deadbolt, disassemble it and install the correct size tumblers to match the key that I wanted to use.
