A:  Yes, this can be used as the bullnose on porcelain tile stairs

A:  I used this Rondec as a top border along tile that covered the bottom 3 ft of a bathroom wall, the 3/8 size worked well and does not overhang the tile. it might be slightly set back, but with the grout in place, it looks good and is a smooth transition. I have drywall directly above the rondec, so the back of it is covered, then I just caulked between the rondec and drywall for a clean look. YMMV, but I was happy with the look of the 3/8 behind the tile.

A:  I guess that depends on how thick your thin set will be in the installation. I have installed this over the top of the thin set so there is very minimal thin set between it and the tile. his eliminates the problem you're contemplating.

A:  I would not. I would overlap the edge of the tile facing you with the tile abutting it at the inside corner.

A:  no this is not correct for an inside corner. There is a separate inside corner piece. Look on the Schluter website, it is easier to figure out than Home Depot site.

A:  Yes, the edge of the tile slides into/under the bull nose lip.

A:  By caps, do you mean end caps? I found 90 degree rights, lefts, ones with 3 joints, rounded corners left and right...just search the Home Depot site. They have he best price I could find online.

A:  I used the rounded corners for the Bullnose edging trim and they fit perfect. I'm almost certain the square ones will fit as well, just make sure they're the correct size.

A:  Mine did. but my contractor didn't use them. I was able to return them. Some of the pieces are $13.00 a piece but are worth it depending on the application you need them for.
