A: The shades are rated for outdoor use so they can be let up during the winter. The shade can come off of the brackets if you prefer to bring in the shade during the months you will not use it.

Q:The version I requested was to include the valance. When received, I find the info I was given did not include the valance. Can a valance be added after the fact or should I return the incorrect ones to the store and reorder?

A: A valance cannot be added after the fact. If you received non-valanced shades, and would like valanced shades, you will need to return the non valanced shades.
