          Q:Does the valence give better stability to the shade? I'll order 120" wide, so want to be sure the mounting is secure. I'm comparing to the other SeaSun shade, same width, but no valence. It's around $300 difference to add valence. Please advise.

              Q:How much width is required to mount the bracket and allow for width of the roll itself? It would be necessary for me to mount the bracket on the inside bottom of the aluminum framework of a screened patio.

                A:  All of our shades do have some degree of visibility through them. We do not have any shades that offer complete privacy.

                  Q:Can you install the shade close to the wall and still be able to crank it up and down. Can the crank handle be held on an angle when cranking ?

                  A:  The crank is operable near a wall as the crank is positioned within the valance. The crank should be used vertically up and down to avoid damage to the hook or the crank mechanism.
