Q:Do you have to pay for a subscription in the future to use the "send photo to frame" email feature?

A:  Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot Judy! The PhotoShare App is free and the feature that allows you to email photos to the frame is free also. The way it works is the device has its own email address (you choose it) and then family members & friends can send pictures to that email address. The device notifies the receiver that pictures are waiting & who they're from & asks if you want to accept them. If they say yes, the pictures appear on the screen.     Q:Is the matte for the black frame supposed to be white, as shown in the advertisement? That's what I was hoping to buy but the one I received has a black frame/black matte.....

    A:  It looks like there is supposed to be Black matte, White Matte, AC Adapter, Quickstart Guide, Stand in the box so that you can choose whether you want black or white matte. At least according to the manufacturers site.

    Q:Does the person that has the frame need a social network account to receive and view pictures? Great grand parents are not on social network.

    A:  No, they don't need a social media account, just internet access. The device has its own email address (you choose it) and then family members send pictures to that email address. The device notifies the receiver that pictures are waiting & who they're from & asks if they want to accept them. If they say yes, the pictures appear on the screen.

      Q:Looking at the list of shipping exemptions. VI- Virgin Islands, PR- Puerto Rico, GU- Guam, and MI- Michigan. Why is Michigan not an allowable place to ship this item? I can purchase this item on other retailers. I feel as though going with the US territories as exemptions MI= Marshall Islands and you are losing business from eligible US customers.
