A:  Yep- my box had it posted in print on the outside. This warranty is for consumer (homeowners) only. Not for pro/trade work- then it’s one year. Stand is open completely at the bottom, but you’d have to rig something together as the saw has no option for dust collection.

A:  Yes, I bought mine last week. They delivered it today and installed it in under 1 hour. I had a great experience! The metal for the legs is pretty solid. I haven' t had any problem with them supporting the saw.

A:  Hi Olbill, unfortuantely the 15 Amp Corded Electric 10 in. Table Saw is only sold as a set. We apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!

A:  I do not know offhand. But, I have found that the stand is well built, and I like the design of it too. However, it is very easy to remove the saw from the stand if you prefer.

A:  Yes you can, but the stand isn't flimsy, we have used this saw on quite a number of items, and the stand is fine

A:  You can but the price you see is the saw price! The stand is free! Ps. The stand is very sturdy, easy to fold up, beefy tubular steel, and takes no space at all.

A:  I don't believe you can order without the stand but rest assured this stand is not flimsy. If your going to use it everyday at different job sites it may possibly not hold up after a long while, but it's a quick set up with this table saw and it's sturdy enough to hold the table perfectly still while it's in use. I would say a good saw with a comparably good stand for the price.

A:  The stand for this saw is very sturdy and the saw can easily be removed from the stand for storage. This saw/stand combo is a great value for the price.

A:  Looks are deceiving. The stand is very sturdy and the weight of the saw, plus design of stand, keep it from moving while in use.

A:  Hi Peter! This table saw accepts dado sets up to 13/16" wide and 8" diameter. To reduce the risk of injury, always use the SKIL dado blade table insert #80076.

A:  Yes, with assistance to support the plywood and aid feeding. The table is 14" left of blade and fully extended is 26" right of blade. This is not enough surface to keep the plywood from bowing without additional support. Not something I would attempt alone.

A:  You can but you'll need to get creative if you want a straight cut. The fence (i.e. table size) cannot adjust past 24 inches max rip capacity.

A:  Too difficult to handle large sheets and guide them through the saw, though the saw is technically capable. Instead, buy a track saw that is basically a circular saw that rides on a track, or clamp a board to it and use that to guide your circular saw, or the best idea is to buy a Kreg Rip Cut that fits any circular saw which will guide your saw. I own one of those and it does an excellent job.

A:  If you take the fence off and have a steady hand-then yes. Straight cuts on a table saw are best ripping to 24 inches with fence in place. If I were cutting 4x8 in half, I’d use sawhorses and a skill saw.

A:  No! Unless you build an extention table to match, for the fence.18” is Max....I have a 10” Delta ,3hp that I use for that..this one is really for light duty stuff.Too much 3/4 and wont last would be my guess..its strengths are its light and can be picked up by one person(im old) and carried around, and its small footprint, I throw it in the back of my Jeep Cherokee....not much guts for heavier stuff, 3/4 would require a sharp blade and going slow on the cut.

A:  To literally answer your question, yes you can. The more important question is: SHOULD YOU USE THIS TO CUT A 4x8 PIECE OF PLYWOOD IN HALF? The answer is a resounding NO, heck NO! To cut a 4x8 piece of plywood it would take three people, one on each end of the plywood and one in the middle to guide the wood. If either one of the side holders get ahead of the other then the blade will jam and kickback this is extremely dangerous and would ruin the wood. You would be better off getting a hand held circular saw and a cutting guide. The cutting guide could be as simple as a 1x3 piece of wood with a couple of C-Clamps. Or Home Depot sells a cutting guide Model # 543056K Internet #205866206 for $51.49. They also have another one comparable to the 1x3 piece of wood, Model # E902 Internet #203175575 Store SKU #17169 for $19.97. The nice thing about the last guide is that it will not wrap from moisture as a piece of wood would. For safety sake you should always keep the weight of the hand held circular saw over the table supporting the wood. If not, when the wood is almost cut the weight of the saw will break the wood and the saw will fall slightly uncontrolled and you don't want to do that with a circular saw. Lastly, if you go to Home Depot and see how they cut a piece of plywood you will see that they use a hand held circular saw mounted in a guide. Granted theirs is mounted vertically where yours would be horizontal.

This saw's motor has bevel gears, rather than worm gears, which prevents the blade from dropping. With this in mind, your best bet is to double-check that your blade is installed properly. If that doesn't do the trick, please give us a call and we'll start troubleshooting right away: 1-877-754-5999.

A:  I'm not Skil, but I can tell you that I had the same problem -- it's caused by the motor mount being loose on the guide bar. There should be a way to adjust the bushing to remove the slop, but even if you could find out how to do it, it'll be difficult to find the exact point where it moves accurately without being stiff. Also, if it loosened in transit, it'll probably loosen with use. Skill says it'll still cut properly, but that assumes you have it running while you make adjusts to ensure the blade is square to the table and parallel to the slots.
