Q:Can this unit remove paint from wood?
    by|Jun 21, 2020
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Depends upon how old the paint is and how ingrained it is into the wood. If the paint is flaking then yes, it will take it off - just remember to test the pressure washer stream on a small section that is not easily seen. I've removed flaked sun baked paint off an old barn - some of the wood was rotted so I had to take care not to hold the nozzle too close. Practice on some similar wood before attempting to remove the paint from the wood you want to clean. James

Q:Is this pressure washer safe to use for washing mildew off of house siding?
      by|Jun 14, 2020
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  I'd use a mildew removal chemical in the pressure washer and depending on the type of siding how close you'd want to have the nozzle since it does have a lot of pressure. If you have some left over siding I'd practice on that before actually starting on the house siding. James

A:  For the most part. One of the hose cradles has to be attached with a screw. Other parts like the hose, soap container and spray gun are not attached in the packing box.

A:  A few bits and pieces have to be attached like the nozzle then too, you have to attach the wand to the machine to use it. One thing though, don't turn it on until you turn on the water to the machine and it comes out of the wand; otherwise the pump will run on dry air and you'll think it's not working.

A:  Well there are a few bits and pieces you have to attach but it's no big deal Just read the assembly instructions. I fully enjoy the use of the pressure washer and it does exactly what it's advertised to do. Only thing to be careful is not to get too close with the pressure wand on delicate surfaces since the pressure could damage it. I use mine from doing the patio decking to washing the car. Hope this helps.

                    Answer This Question

A:  This is a great light and medium duty pressure washer. It will handle most household chores. We used it to pressure wash our house in preparation of painting and it worked perfectly. If your project involves a small section of pavers, it should be fine. I recommend using the turbo nozzle.

                    by|May 19, 2020

A:  Depends on what the sealer is. Can probably be done with the fine point nozzle which is the most powerful, but would likely be a very slow process due to the fine spray.

Q:Can the trigger be locked while spraying

                    Answer This Question

A:  No. It can be locked to ensure you don't squeeze the trigger to engage pressure accidentally. This is most likely a safety feature in case you need to stop the spray quickly.

                    by|May 6, 2020

A:  No, and you wouldn't want it to be in case of an accident and you lose control of the wand; say you slipped, fell down and here this wand is blasting pressurized water all over the place until you can get it back under control. When you release the trigger, the pump basically stops and it takes a second or two for it to pressurize again.
