A:  Yes, you can use an extension cord.

        by|Apr 5, 2019

A:  Don,t see a problem as long as you use a ext cord as short as possible, plus this doesn,t draw much elect.

          by|Feb 4, 2020

A:  Yes, an extension cord can be used with this fan.

          by|Aug 15, 2020

A:  The ultimate answer is that you should have the entire cord upgraded to be longer; replace the cord. The answer you need is, go ahead and place a extension cord in the circuit; as long as, you don't overload the extension cord with other electrical items. The standard safety hazard practices must be maintained.

A:  The product description doesn't say anything about the size of the screws but the product package includes 2 screws.

A:  Generally, screws are not rated according to head size at the hardware store. A one inch drywall screw should have the correct size; you may be able to obtain one smaller head. I looked at mine and it looks like a number eight pair of screws is installed on it. The company that makes the unit is Suncourt, Inc. at Suncourt.com. Since the unit is small, why not take the unit with you to the hardware store. Loads of Luck!

A:  You'll have to use self tapping screws or drill pilot holes in your door frame. It mounts in the corner of a door frame with either 2 or 4 screws. It comes with a template to help with installation.

A:  Hello, We are in Iowa and the average electricity cost was 10.79 cents per kilowatt in January 2017. Based on that cost and if the fan is run 12 hours a day it would be an additional $0.025 (2.5 cents) per day. The fan is rated at 20 watts. You can plug that number into online electricity bill calculators found online. You can also put your electricity cost in to get your specific cost. Call us at 800-999-3267 M-F 8-4:30 central time with any questions. Thanks, Suncourt

A:  We considered this also, but considering it's reasonable price and how long we owned it before it broke (which BTW, was due to us dropping it!), it was soooo easy to order it online and pick it up at my local store.
