Q:Do the covers snap closed at the openings so that when you bring your recyclables to the recycle center, they don't come flying open and spread your recyclables all over the road?

    A:  No, they do not snap at the opening. Actually the lid just sits on top of the container

      A:  It is possible to fit. However, because the unique shape, it will not be "fitted". The bag opening will likely not be the same as the bin opening.

        A:  It will not fit wrapped around the opening but a 13gal bag will fit inside the container.

            Q:The dimensions say 15widex 18 deep x 42 high. Is that each bin for total for all 3?

            A:  The 42 inch height is for all three units stacked. So, each individual bin measures 15"W x 18"D x 15"H. The lid of each bin has a recess that the feet of bin above will rest in (which explains why the overall height is not 45 inches instead).
