Questions and Answers for Teamson Home Polyresin 3 Tier Garden Fountain

A:  It is hollow but very sturdy and much heavier than expected. Took about 10 minutes to assemble. I'm very happy with it.

A:  Yes

A:  36 1/2 inches tall. I used blocks and stones to raise mine up to look more impressive

A:  As needed. With all the rain we have had in Georgia, I haven't had to add any water in weeks

A:  This fountain holds a fair amount of water. I never measured it because I fill it with a garden hose. Maybe 3 gallons. It also depends on your relative humidity. I top mine off about once a week, and my average humidity levels are 50-60%.

A:  no, it is not solar

A:  No - it is powered by an electric pump.

A:  Yes it does, however you must keep the bowls clear of debris. I live in the woods so I have leaves and small pieces of branches fall into the bowls and clog the holes in the upper bowl. I do clean the pump on a regular basis to keep it running smoothly. It's easy to clean - just rinse it off with a garden hose.

A:  Yes, the pump is strong enough to keep the water flowing and the bowls filled

A:  No. I have tried to contact the Teamson company to find out what the GPH rating is for this pump without success

A:  the only thing to chew through would be the power cord you'd have to set up to have it running. the fountain itself is not able to be chewed through unless you allow your dog to stand up (front paws on the edge) then I suppose the dog could put teeth marks into it but I don't think it could be chewed through.

A:  No. It is a molded poly resin.

A:  No. It’s sturdy, but sounds like you’ll need concrete or cast metal.

A:  If your dog is a chewer, then nothing is safe. This thing is fairly sturdy, but a large dog could topple it over, then chew the edges (and probably could die from swallowing the foam and resin). A small dog might be more intimidated by the size to try and damage it. Or just choose to place it where a dog cannot access it.

A:  Less than a five gallon bucket full. That's how much I poured in when I set it up.

A:  I would say 3 1/2 gallons. I added 1/2 gallon weekly during the hottest part of the summer season.

A:  It holds about 4 - 5 gallons. I filled it with 2 trips from my watering can.
