A:  The base has about a 14 inch diameter. It might be a little loud for indoor use, and there maybe some splashing outside of the fountain caused by the waterfall effect, but there is no other reason I can think of why it couldn't be used indoors

A:  I would not use it indoors because the water can splash out and there is no way to drain it unless you tip it over.

A:  The base is about 18 inches in diameter, though the bottom bowl is wider, about 24 inches. I believe it can be used indoors because it doesn’t splash water all around.

A:  You have to add water to the fountain every other day. The water recycles and you have to add more water to fill it up when water evaporates.

A:  It depends on the evaporation usually in warmer weather. It may require adding daily as much as a gallon or so. If not that hot then adding water is not required. And if it rains it will be filled by Mother Nature.

A:  It depends on the humidity in your area and how often it rains. I would check the water level once a week and top off as necessary.

A:  The motor is a small aquarium pump that is easy to remove. The whole thing could be packed away during the winter, or inverted so that no water, ice or snow accumulates during winter.

And not tubes, per se, more like a top hole that allows water to flow out slowly, and four holes in the middle bowl that allow water to drop into the largest bottom bowl

A:  So far since I put it together 24 hours ago the streams are not even because the pump is bringing water to just the top of the founstain. It should be pimping about 3/4 inch higher. Could be an adjustment. Could be that the pump is not sufficiently strong enough. I have a couple of other pumps I may try. Problem-have to take it all apart and start over. Ug!

A:  I have lots of birds and have never seen them drink from it.

A:  Although I have not seen the birds taking advantage of it yet, I would think that as the weather warms up, they will. It is not so deep that birds would be afraid, but could also attract mosquitoes
