A:  I would say that it depends on the proximity of the mole mound and the garden. If there is simply a mole trail leading to the garden, I would use the bait. If the mound is within 5-10 feet of the garden, I would use a repellent and not poison.

    A:  I wouldn't. It's a poison. If it leaches in any way into the soil, it could make you sick.
