    A:  Thank you for your interest in our TopTile products! If you are talking about isolating sound, polyester will help on voice type sound, not impact sound.       Q:Can these ceiling tiles support insulation when used as drop in grid tiles, also if glued to ceiling or wall do they eventually fall off.

      A:  Insulation by nature is light. If it’s the type that comes in rolls, the insulation will be supported by the ceiling grid and not just the tiles. If installing hard insulation it should be cut to the tile size so they are also supported by the ceiling grid. Polyester Tiles glued to ceilings or walls falling off depends on the adhesive and the substrate. If applied with quality adhesive and the substrate is smooth, dry and free of any dust or foreign matter. The tiles should stay in place for decades. Ceiling installations are subject to the forces of gravity and therefore wall installations should last longer than ceilings.

        Q:I am wondering if this ceiling tile will fit in a standard 2x2 grid ceiling. tile needs to be 23 3/4" x 23 3/4" is this the size of the tile?
