Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question- It is water-resistant to
topical moisture such as leaks and spills. Allure is water resistant and will
withstand holding water for short periods of time if
the product is installed properly. Allure is not flood
proof! It is not meant as water proofing
material nor a solution for moisture. Please see https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/82/82604704-fdc5-4f58-b468-d76411565ac7.pdf.

Q:we have old oak wood floors that have gouges and areas where the floor is a bit uneven. I?ve been sanding and using wood filler, and while the floor is now smooth, I don?t think I can get it flat. My landlord doesn?t want to buy underlay, is that ok?
by|Aug 25, 2023

Answer This Question
A: Thanks for your question. The flooring is only as good as the subfloor. Over time, imperfections in the subfloor can telegraph and show in the surface of the plank. You also cannot use any type of underlayment with this product. It will void the warranty.

Answer This Question
A: The flooring is durable and a great choice for basements, but I would recommend putting rubber gym mats under the equipment since it is so heavy.

A: Thanks for your question. Any home gym equipment should be ok. You will need to use some type of non-rubber mats under the equipment to prevent movement. Rubber will permanently discolor/yellow the wear layer of the planks.
