A: Hello, Assembling and attaching a Trex Seclusions privacy fence kit to aluminum posts is typically not recommended. A post less than 4" wide and made of light gauge material that may be sufficient for an aluminum panel may not be adequate to support a Seclusions fence in general, including Trex. The top rail of a Trex Seclusions fence is 4" wide, so aesthetically, a 4" or greater aluminum post would look best for this style. Please note, third party products used in conjunction with Trex materials are not covered under the Trex warranty.
Additionally, while it is possible to sleeve a Trex post over a typical aluminum post, the aluminum may not be sturdy enough to act as the internal support. Consider replacing your aluminum posts and replacing them with Trex posts for best results.
Please give us a call if you have any additional questions. 1-800-289-8739. Thank you, Trex Customer Care Team

A: I would say no I don’t know your exact situation but most 2x2 aluminum post would not support the wait of the panels
