Q:can you tell me what the clearance is to open the door? My bathroom is small - Vanity on one side and toilet on the other. Thank you.

A:  Thank you for your inquiry Sbunt. For the VIGO VG6011 36" x 36" enclosure, you would need about 24" clearance to open the door completely for this model. Note: there is a smaller fixed panel next to the door on the hinge side that is 10 1/8", so you would need to take this into consideration when opening the door to make sure that the door does not hit up again obstruction on that side of the enclosure.

    Q:For your 34" x 34", and your 32" x 32" products - can you tell me the exact inside dimensions? I need to place the glass directly on the tile along a set seam, and need to know the dimensions to prep the tile install to accept the glass dimensions.

    A:  Thank you for your inquiry Bill. For the VIGO Monteray shower enclosure here are you glass enclosure dimensions: 32"x 32" would be 30 1/4" x 30 1/4" 36" x 36" would be 34 1/8" x 34 1/8"

      A:  Thank you for your inquiry plumbernes. The drain location for the VIGO Monteray shower enclosure is 12" x 12" from rear corner of the shower. The drain hole size is standard 3 1/2" diameter.

          A:  Ayoosh, thank you for your inquiry. The VIGO Monteray VG6011BNCL36 shower enclosure can be purchased with or without the shower base. Unfortunately, the shower base cannot be tiled over.

If you have already purchased the shower enclosure, you can contact VIGO Product Support at 866-591-7792, option 2 to purchase the needed shower base. Please have your purchsae order informaiton ready at the time of the call. If the enclosure is not purchased yet, you can purchase the enclosure with the base all in one.

                    Q:In the product photos, what is the black vertical line/seam where the door closes? is that really a black strip that runs the length of the door or is it just this picture that is making it appear black? my bathroom is all white- everything-fixtures too and I don't really want to see that black line...

                    A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The VIGO VG6011 shower enclosure will have a door magnetic seal strip at the outer corner of the enclosure. This is used to keep the door in the closed position. The strip itself is clear, but the magnet itself does run the height of the door.
