          A:  Yes, that is a recommended installation as this model is only the glass, hardware and base.

            Q:I had this installed but it leaks (water GUSHES out) from the bottom - between the glass and the bottom rail. Why? How to fix it? Also I had ordered and paid for the 36-inch model but got the 34-inch. The contractor installed what we had. When I got home from work and saw it was the wrong size - it was already too late :(

            A:  This item should not be leaking unless it is installed in the reverse position and the other information is not available.

                A:  Tis listing does not include a pan. Listing model VG6011BN363W includes the pan.

                  A:  If you are looking for the model with the base, you would want VG6011BN363W. The model VG6011BN363 does not come with the base.

                    A:  No, it does not include a shower pan. It has rails that are installed on a pre-existing shower bed. I built my own mortar bed, and it was a good choice for that project.
